"The hospital that puts your pet's health and wellbeing first!"
It is important to choose a veterinary hospital before you need one. Ask family, friends and neighbors for recommendations. Once you find a hospital, take some time to check it out. Ask for a tour of the facility, and use your eyes and nose to detect cleanliness.
If it doesn't meet your expectations, turn around and leave.
Some questions to ask...
Is the facility is well lit?
Does it have a fully equipped laboratory and pharmacy?
Does it have a dedicated surgery room with laminar air flow or is surgery performed in a common, non-sterile environment that is also used for other purposes?
Does the hospital use gas anesthesia?
Does the hospital monitor patients with equipment such as a pulse-oximeter or an EKG during surgical procedures?
Does the hospital monitor the patient’s body temperature or supply a supplemental heat source (Gaymor-Heat-Pump) during surgery?
Is there a fully equipped isolation room that has negative air flow to minimize the spread of viruses to healthy patients?
Is there an ICU for critical patients?
Is 24 hour emergency service made available?
Braden Run Animal give you and your pet access to all this and more!
